My old blog was stagnant in its design and how frequently I was posting. That probably has to do with my losing interest in something if it doesn't change frequently, at least partially. I also find the ability to change the blog with a bit of php code refreshing.
My initial reaction was that WP didn't have enough plugins, but a year has gone by and wow - take a look at the colophon for a list of those that I use. I've managed to write three of my own as well.
For those of you who are still using MT - I'm a happy convert.
