If you're like most coaches, you may not have even started the teleclass route. But, I'm sure you've attended your fair share of them.
Some are exciting - the level of interraction and wonderful content can give you the feel of actually being there.
But feel like taking one more step? I've been investigating the use of web conference tools. Let me take you back to 1999, when web conferencing was still in its infancy. I worked with a product called NetPodium, which was purchased by Akamai. It required the use of a telephone, a high speed connection and lots of money on the part of the presenter. The phone companies provided at as a service to their subscribers and at the time, it was bleeding edge technology.
Fast forward to 2004 and there are tools that we, with lesser budgets can use to give our clients a new way of learning material. I'll take a look at a few out there - but one of my favorites right now is Convoq (That's pronounced Con-voke). For just under $150, you can present to 25 people for an unlimited amount of time. We tested it at two all day events and it worked great. Stay tuned for others.
