Loaded up Leopard and prepared for a lovely experience while the droves of kids knocked on my door last night.
Problem 1: My hard drive doesn't come up as a selectable installation place.
Rescue: Loaded up the disk utility and took care of permissions. All set. Next?
Problem 2: Yeek! What do you mean my bundles are disabled? How in heavens' name will I live without MailActOn and MailTags?
Rescue: Hawkwings comes to the rescue and bails me out of Leopard's Disabled Bundle prison.
What Hawkwings means by "loading up your bundles" is that you open up Finder and navigate to where you have the bundles stored. In my case, my bundles are stored in Library/Mail. There is a folder there labeled Bundles (Disabled). Move the disabled bundles back to the Bundles folder above it.
My MailActOn is active again. As to MailTags, I loaded up the new Leopard beta version and I'm back to normal.
Problem 3: JunkMatcher doesn't work anymore. I'm giving mail.app's built in junk filter a go, but so far, since I haven't trained it, its failing miserably.
Solution: None so far…
