What have I done? I've volunteered to be a cheerleading coach for my daughter's middle school. I'm either insane or just plain crazy. I enjoy working with teenagers, it will be excellent practice for coaching the next generation.
The next generations offer us new challenges. They are a new breed, the generations raised on color tv, computers, game boys. They want it all and they want it now. In fact, they already get it now. They have tremendous spending power, even at a teenage or younger level. They have their own credit cards, cell phones, two-way pagers. They live on the internet, instant message one another, maintain blogs (on-line diaries).
They establish their own communities, usually involving out-of-state or out-of-country friendships. They are the new generation and look out, they're here!
