I finished importing three different newsletter lists. Several thousand emails in each. Then sit and wait for the verification process to complete. Ok, so I'm not waiting around, I'm actually doing other things.
But after the caveats from other unhappy aweber folk, I'm leary. So I think up the worst scenario. What if someone never gets the verification email. So, if in doubt, test.
I signup and ignore the verification email. I'm shown as Unverified. I signup again using the same form. No error, that's ok I guess. Rather they were told to hang on, we're working on the issue. I receive another verification email.
So how will I handle the actual problems? I'm thinking I'll have them resubscribe and look for the email in their junk. But what about the folks who never see their junk - the server eats it.
I'll call aweber tomorrow about that one.
Over 20% verified on all of the lists. So there, doubting Thomases.
